(Very first thing I’ve made)Made my very own vest as of 06/12/12. 100% from scratch, just me and my sewing machine. . I also made without a pattern. Came out pretty well, I think. S/N: The vest is reversible.

Wow very nicely done, my I ask how long it took you total to make this? I need to throw something quick together for my brother and don’t have a lot of experience sewing hah.

Hey, this was a pretty simple project, just took me a lot of thinking. This was the very first thing I’ve sewn and I made the pattern for it. So, I wouldn’t say I have much experience either. This project probably took around 3-4 hours (with downtime and thinking on how to execute). I think vest/waistcoats are pretty simple. Good luck and thank you.
