i have had this vest sitting around for months nearly completely done aside for finishing the arm holes. I even had black binding strips already pinned to to the arm holes, but I couldn’t commit. I started out with the idea that this would be dual colored reversible and if i bound with black it would look odd and turn out bulky.
I finally finished it off today by turning in the seam allowances and topstitching with the 2 different colors on each side. I am happy with how neat the result is, and all the handwork i did to keep the thick rope piping straight. Yet, I cannot really see myself wearing it very much, the pattern is a little too boxy for me.
This is pattern I from Sasahara Noriko’s Pattern book Nonchalant Feminine Style.
