This jacket is from the very first issue of BurdaStyle that I ever bought – only took me a year to finish it. I wanted to make it reversible, and finding a reversible zipper was a bit difficult in West Africa, so I waited until I was back in the states to finish it.
The pattern originally called for non fraying fabric, but I sewed 2x of everything so it could be reversible. I love the hoodie and the long cuffs – perfect for when I need that extra bit of protection from the cold.
