On the outside is a chalk-board fabric panel. I thought it would be fun to write “today’s special” on it. I made the bag reversible. It rolls at the top and stay shut with a velco.
100% cotton from Ikea. Pre-washed so it won't shrink. Black panel is appliqued chalk-board material (a type of vinyl).

I love this project! Where did you find the chalk board material?

I ended up ordering it online (on Etsy from vendor: TheFabricFarm) as I couldn’t find it anywhere near where Iived.
It’s a form of oilcloth.

Great idea. I love your fabric choice. I think this is a nice project to use up leftover pieces of fabric.

Wow! Amazing! I like the whole project starting from the chalk-board panel, the reversability, the combination of the fabrics, the lot!
