I took it upon myself last year to do this project but have only just up loaded it. The idea was to make our old hand me down peach floral ‘pouf’ match the sofa in some way on a budget. So I set about finding any fabric big enough to re cover it that would wear well with a kid in the house and found a stash of old worn jeans. so I set to cutting then out and sewing them back together to make two long strips( for the sides) and rectangle top piece. After sewing them all together I took my staple gun and fixed the panels in place.
To make it appear to fit in with our sofa I them set about making two pillow covers one for a pink girls skirt Iiked from a charity shop the over from the top of a pair of left over jeans.
I had great fun with this project and it is now not only a great seat / storage hole but a great talking point for any one visting the house.
I hope this insprires others to do have fun reviving in there homes.
Old jean (lot’s of), 2 spare pillows and an old ‘pouf’.
