I saw this project in BurdaStyle 1/2011 (Top 109A) and immediately loved the feminine shape, so I thought I’d take it from “stay at home” to the office and beyond. I used a soft stripy jersey to make it as comfy as it is stylish. Pair it with jeans to dress it for the weekend or with a black satin pencil skirt and a black rose for a classy retro feel.

Thanks milkyway! I’m starting to look at the pattern outline drawing more and less at the way BurdaStyle choose to shoot/style it. It makes me look at the bare shape of the garment and allows me to be more creative with how I’d like to interpret it. This is a new thing for me, but I like it! :)
