I wasn’t so smitten with the patterns in the issue 07/2013 of Burda Style magazine, but fell in love with the vintage pattern from 1965.
I used a yellow stretchy cotton fabric. I was planning to wear the shorts in fall with tights and leggins, since the yellow doesn’t look that great on my pale skin (I never get a tan), but I can also see me wearing them in spring, paired with colourful tights and shirts.
The original pattern didn’t have any back pockets, which looked kinda bleh in my opinion, so I added fake ones.
