My most prized creation…
A simply retro shaped tube dress with a sweetheart neckline and zipper in back. The bust is a draped black crushed silk charmeuse. The cummerbund style waist is a fuschia crepe back satin. The bottom is a sheer houndstooth printed polyester…the real test of my ability…it’s completely canadian/lattice smocked by hand (which took me 3 weeks). I saw the style on a pillow once and thought it would make an interesting dress. The inside of the dress is completely lined and fetaures a fully boned corset. This dress is part of my ‘collection to be’. I didn’t use a pattern, nor did I even sketch the dress beforehand…mostly because I can only draw stick figures, so it came directly from my head. Also, I accidentally made it in my size so yay me!

Wooooooooooooow!! Really really beautiful!! I love that technique of canadian/lattice smocked by hand!…and I love that colour choises: black,fuchsia,gray? You have realised a very interesting and wonderful dress. Just I looove it!!! Beautiful job!
