Burda Style For people who sew

Since I haven’t found any maternity patterns I love….and maternity clothes are so expensive….I decided to draft and make my own dress! After making a million I realized…..Making my own pattern cant be that hard…and its not! Besides….no one makes vintage inspired maternity and thats really all i want. I wore a petticoat for volume, which incidentally makes it hard to tell there is a baby bump.
The zip is a 22 inch invisible zip in the back. The skirt is basically two rectangle panels gathered to fit the 4 inch thick waist band that connects to the boat neck bodice. The sash is removable.
