Description

I made this bustier into a swimsuit, I made some padding for the cups because I feel more secure having some kind of padding or foam on the bust area, especially if it’s cold. I also added elastic along the seams of the back panels. If II was to remake it again as a swimsuit top, I would put elastic along the bottom, instead of lining it to make it form to the skin better and give more support.

This looks lovely though. I have a bikini cut out from a vintage pattern so it’s more robust looking than some modern ones. I’m still not sure if I’d trust it once sewn lol x

Thank you! the first swimsuit I made was from a pattern from the sixties, I definitely wouldn’t trust swimming in it lol maybe just as a laying on the beach suit
