I decided to sew the Marie skirt for my mom but I found out the material was only 70 cm wide and I needed the double…so i cut the skirt as a rectangle (130 × 50 cm), added the gathers as in Marie original and the belt. I put the invisible zipper on the hip and hook and eyes to close the belt…
I think this skirt look a little retrò – my mom loves it!!
