I was gifted some 3/4 length linen bottoms which we a tad on the large size for me, but I love linen and am short on shorts, so a re-fashion of these was due!
You can see in the pictures that I took fabric from the side seams and middle seam to get rid of the bulk of fabric. I sewed the pockets shut as this style they tend to gape on me and make me look even wider. I then shortened them substantially and added a turn up detail to the bottom hem to ‘set them off’!
I hope it is clear from the pictures which are the ‘before’ shots and which are the ‘after’ shots.
Gifted linen bottoms!
