A tank style blouse made from a vintage boxy and too big short sleeve blouse. A re-repurpose as the top ended up mine when it was purged from a friend’s closet years ago. Back then I liked it oversized, but hadn’t worn it in years. The fabric is so pretty I wanted to make something I’d wear again. I used the top part of a McCall’s dress pattern (5374) that I already knew the fit of. Basically I just shimmied the pattern around, aligning center fold with center, then traced the borders with chalk to mark cutting line. Made in July 2010. Turned into a great transitional piece for fall!
