My old purse died, but I didn’t want to have to go and find another one. Thus, I made a pattern from my old one!
I’m poor, so I mostly just used what I had lying around or had been given to me. I’m a huge fan of www.shopgoodwill.com for fabric! Not all of it’s great, but you can find some awesome material or clothing to modify.
If people want it, I’ll go ahead and put the pattern up, but it’s a fairly simple hobo bag.
I used: green corduroy for the outside, a cotton blend for the inside lining and pocket (both upcycled from a pair of pants), 1/4" (0.635 cm) elastic, fun biased tape I had lying around, some blue ribbon I braided/wove for the strap. Anything goes, although I’d recommend any medium to heavy woven materials.
