Summer is here! And to celebrate, I made a maxi dress – my favorite type of garment to wear on hot summer days.
I used the Sewaholic Renfrew pattern and converted it to a maxi using a RTW maxi as a guide. I used the Renfrew for the top half and drew an A-line skirt extending from the waist for the bottom half. Easiest pattern hack ever – give it a try!
I also scooped out the neckline a bit and drafted “sleevettes” (angled sleeve bands) to add some interest.
Maggie (my cat) couldn’t resist joining in the photo shoot. : )
