This shirt is more than a year old, yet it saw the light of day yesterday. It was put away because I couldn’t decide on the solution for the front part (bib). It was a pleated bib. But I didn’t like the pleats – first they were too big/wide- then too small/narrow… I left the project unfinished. But yesterday, while rearranging unfinished projects (there are plenty of those – believe me!) I decided then and there to make a ruffled bib. I think it is presentable now and like it far more.

that looks good, great idea! i’ve got three unfinished tops that i keep hanging on the wall next to my sewing desk… they all need a bit of undoing and fixing, one definitely needs a better idea for the finish round the neck. maybe you’ll see your idea one one of mine one day soon, if you don’t mind.
