Description

I made erdronen’s organizer wallet with drapery fabric from the remnant table ($0.49/yd!!) The zipper pocket was a bit wonky, and it got too thick to topstitch at the end (whoops!), but I blind-stitched it closed (inside and out).

I used heavy interfacing on the outer and inner pieces; the brown fabric was atrocious and just wanted to unravel; and my favorite parts are the blue flowers – I took care in cutting the fabric so that they’d be placed rather prettily, I think. The most expensive part by far was the magnetic clasp!

I love it! Sorry I didn’t see this before! Your fabric placement is really beautiful :) The topstitching is absolutely the hardest part of the whole thing, and my zippers always come out wonky too :)

I made this too, I didn’t manage to top stitch it either as it made it too small. I might make another one with a magnectic clasp as my popper has come out now. I love your fabric choice!
