Description

Needed a make-up bag, saw some in the shops, and realised that anyone with a sewing machine could make one, and it wouldnt cost over $10. Made from remnants, and a zip I had lying around.

Louis Vuitton inspired cross quilting, (i think thats what its called), very time consuming but looks nice. Inside is a dark green/blue silk(polyester), wadding and then and heavy black cotton fabric (possibly twill).

Made with a flap for make up brushes.

The zip detaches at one end so it is able to open fully.

Probably should have made it with a firm base.

Took me about 3-5 hours. But much longer designing and planning.

Could be modified into a purse or small bag.

Material Notes

wadding, zipper, silk, and black cotton.

Great idea to add the elastic to hold brushes.
