I made this gown to wear to a ball that was held by the Oregon Regency Society. I modified the 1805 Bib Front pattern from Period Costume for Stage and Screen, Vol II 1800-1909 by Jean Hunnisett to recreate the gown worn by Countess Daru in the portrait by David.
100% acetate taffeta, 100% Cotton Voile, cotton cording, straight pins
