I used the material from a favourite pair of wide-legged trousers, now alas too small for me, to make a simple A-line winter skirt. I kept one of the pockets of the trousers, and added a plain ribbon round the hem.
This was my first invisible zip, and now I’m a convert :-)

I’m actually making something really similar, so maybe I’m biased when I say I love it. But whether I am or not, the fact still remains that it looks pretty sweet. I love the ribbon on the hem.
