This was a very ugly cardigan. I turned it back to front, dyed it and made it smaller. Am very pleased with the result!

I used a really crappy dye that you can buy in Australia called Dylon. I do not recommend it (this top was supposed to be black!!!). You can buy dyes that textile artists use from art suppliers. They are the best.

Hey I really like your shorts and hoping to attempt to make some for this spring just wondered if you made them yourself??? Plus I love the cardigan refashioned… I am into reuse and recycling clothes, I recently made a horrible jumper into a cute little cardigan!

Thanks! Unfortunately I did not make the shorts, they are Vanessa Bruno. Although it would not be at all hard to refashion them if you can find some high-waisted pleated trousers!
