I love the Kasia! I was excited to try this! I’m pretty happy with it.
If I were to do it again, I would make it more pencil-like (i.e. taper it more to show some nice curves!
It was my first time making button-holes, and they were extremely easy! (The machine does all the work).
The directions were a little bit difficult to follow, as I think I was taking them too literally. During the 2nd step, it says to turn the lining pocket pouch inside out, when really you should turn it right side out. I got really stuck on this, but when I finally decided to stop following directions, and instead just do what seemed correct, everything went a lot easier!
I used some quilting material, because it's so easy to work with!

Love the contrasting colours! I totally agree about the instructions given. I made the kasia aswell and ended up not following the instructions at all after the first 3 i think :) also with the more pencil-y look you would want to achive if you do it again i think its just the general kasia pattern! Mine turned out not so pencil-y also which really bummed me out, maybe the model for burda just has fuller curves.

Your Kasia looks so good – red is my favourite colour, I love the contrast of the blue and red! that’s a lovely frilly top too. I have cut my Kasia out and it’s been sitting there- you have inspired me to get cracking!!

I don’t usually like the Kasia so much but this looks really good! The colours are great together. I might put this on my to-do list!

Gorgeous! Love the whole outfit. The red waist band looks like a belt, giving this skirt a completely different look than it usually looks.

Thanks AnaJan! I was worried that doing a contrasting waistband might make the buttons look funny, but I was pleased with the results.
