Description

Pattern is from BWOF 7/2008 Pattern No 118. I recently subscribed to BWOF (I LOVE these magazines) and whenever I get them I spend ages going through them and marking all the garments I would like to make! Needless to say I have dozens of sticky notes on loads of pages, but this is the first BWOF creation I have made! I was always a bit intimidated by the HUGE pattern sheets with a million patterns on each one, but was pleasantly surprised at how easy the whole process was! (I did choose a more simple garment to try first!) I used wax paper (to wrap sandwiches!) and traced the pattern pieces with a tracing wheel, I added on seam allowances when I cut the fabric, to cut a long story short, here is my red tunic top :-)

Material Notes

Red cotton knit, red and white floral knit

A great tunic top. I like it. And the choice of fabric is great.
