Red tulip dress

This is my second try on burda model 128 from issue 8/09. This time I skipped the center back seam (of course I corrected the darts because of this) and put a lapeled side zipper.
I liked the alterations I made…. I think the dress is more classy without a seam at the back……plus I don’t need a man to zip the dress:)
Unfortunately, the dress has not so much body and shape as the first one, because this fabric is more soft and drapey it doesn’ t highlight properly the tulip shape. I didn’t like so much the result …. but I hope you like it!

I love this on you. I don’t like back seams either and I take them out if they’re not neccesary. I think you did.a great job on this and the red fabrics lovely x
