Description

It took some time, but I finally finished my trenchcoat. I learned a lot from sewing this coat. Several metres of bias tape and lots of hand stiching (which I really don’t like) were needed to make it look good on the inside as well. I had a hard time choosing the buttons, but I’m happy I went for white ones. And when I find a matching buckle, I will add that to the belt.

This is a Burda pattern from the 12/2011 issue.

Very smart! I think I prefer this pattern made in cotton (rather than my attempt in wool), it makes for sharper lines. Well done.
