this is another one of my projects that is for sale at purity in woodstock, ny. it’s getting cold up here and everybody loves super soft fleece. but why not look stylish while wearing it! the jacket used to be an ikea fleece blanket (which had wonderful dye-cut edges) and it’s got awesome red snaps. the pattern is based on the steffi jacket, but i moved the opening to the side and did some exagerated tailoring.
fleece blanket from ikea, snaps from kamsnaps.com

Well, this has to be the most stunning transformation of a fleece blanket I’ve seen. Love the dye cut edging.
