I wanted this fairly loose and roomy but forgot to make the neckline smaller, hence the addition of an anchor button, some ‘artful’ gathering and cotton bias binding to stabilise. I’m not sure I’ve really pulled this one off but wear it anyway.

I think the button at the neck line looks great. In fact, I looked at the pattern to look at the detail, saw that there wasn’t any and so I think you have pulled it off. Well done, it is a lovely top.
