This is 11/2011 Burda magazine pattern #116A (the sort and wool version of 11/2011 Long print skirt).
In fact I myself would not have chosen to sew the skirt (my sister chose it) since the pattern seemed to be a little strange – as it would be missing the waistband part. It just looks undone. However we took a thinner fabric (cotton based) instead of the wool that the pattern required, so the result I think is OK.

I agree that the original pattern looked a little strange. Yours looks far neater! Good choice to use a lighter fabric… and I do love a red skirt!
