I needed a new costume for carnival and I love little red riding hood… When I found this super-cheap red fleece blanket that perfectly goes with my dirndl I made a cape of it. The lining is black (great for a next years devil costume ;-)).
I love the cape and would love to wear it apart from carnival, but it is a little stiff and a little too red…

I’ve been looking for a pattern for a cape just like this! Any chance you could share how you did it?
Also, when you say “The lining is black (great for a next years devil costume”, does that mean it’s reversable too?
I would truly love you forever if you could give me the pattern, I’d be willing to compensate for it of course :)

This is great. I really love the style of the cape. The button closure at the neck is my favorite part, it’s so different than what I usually see on capes.
