I saw a picture online of this dress and I fell in love with it. The style was simple and easy and I was determined to make it myself so, with the help of a dear friend of mine, I put scissor to cloth and this is what we came up with. The dress was worn at the Red Ribbon Ball which is a major fundraiser for the AIDS Foundation in the Bahamas and it got great reviews!
The skirt was made using 3 yards of lalique fabric. The top was made using a half yard crochet syled fabric and the dress is fully lined. I also mad a matching handbag and the belt has handmade rosettes attached. I also made a shawl using one and a half yards of organza fabric in a light shade.
