Red pleated blouse

Added Apr 15, 2009

by sewella

South Of Eden, M...

I saw a beautiful dress in a fashion magazine and decided to use the idea and make a blouse instead. I used a cotton jersey somewhat thick (it’s the same fabric wrapped around me to go with my red spring skirt). The front pleats are sewn to the back piece that drapes behind. I used an obi belt to give a definition of the blouse; otherwise the blouse is simply dull.

Material Notes

cotton jersey

Very feminine and flattering on you. I love the shape of the hemline, and the obi belt brings it all alive. This blouse looks fantastic with jeans!
