I craved a red pair of pants in my wardrobe. I have made pants before but there’s always a learning curve.
This project however became the one of horrors. First I had sewed a size 42. It was huge. One day I will learn to properly measure patterns flat. But for now I will go the route via trial and error.
Narrow trousers? I think not. Had to narrow it a substantial amount to fit it. The pockets feel really awkward. Next time I will make a smaller size with a forward pocket and some back pockets too.
Red soft stretch denim. Would be perfect for leggings. It had a generous amount of width-wise stretch.
