I made this dress for my this year vocation. It combines a lot of my favourite details:
firstly, it’s a wrap dress – and it’s always winsome;
secondly – it’s made of elastic linen so lets feel comfortable, not die because of heat and is not wrinkling too much even in a suitcase;
thirdly – the pattern gives enough fitting;
forthly – one-peice sleeves are always good to balance the figure and to cover hands and shoulders that are not ideal;
and, important, too, the dress is bright red – it means it always makes a good mood:)
The dress is from Burda 5/2009, #117.
Stretch linen. The fabric is thin enough despite it’s linen so draped front parts and pleats on the skirt look and got well and at the same time they keep the shape.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
