Description

I got the book Sew U Homestretch by Wendy Mullin at my local public library. I was thinking of buying a copy for myself and wanted to check it out. I wasn’t a huge fan of most of the patterns, but I did end up copying one of the patterns: the babydoll dress. It’s super comfy and easy to assemble (though I did not use the books instructions). I modified the neckline, because the original was really low. I also did not put elastic on the neckline as suggested by the instructions. Instead, I used a bias strip.
I also made a matching braided headband from fabric scaps!

    It’s cute! I just picked up some Jersey knit just about this color off the clearance rack yesterday and am now in search of just the dress i want to make from it. yours turned out very cute.
