Description

The commercial-brand pattern I first tried to use was a little baggy for my husband. So, I created by taking measurement from his favorite dress and sport shirts. I also spent hours to research on the web to learn how to sew a shirt.

He was happy to wear this shirt on the Christmas party, so all my efforts were worthwhile!! :)

Material Notes

Cotton selected by my husband.

Nice job! I know what you mean about the commercial patterns for men, often times the sleeve is just too wide…I use Simplicity 2741 when I make shirts for my hubby — it has a slimmer sleeve, and that changes everything.
