I’ve recently joined The Sew Weekly and one of the first theme weeks I participated in was ‘Down Under’. The task was to create something you’d wear in the season opposite to the one you’re currently in. As I live in the UK, and we’re going through some freezing temperatures here, it made sense to make a scorching hot dress.
This was made using Butterick 5209 which is a pattern I’ve used before, and I know it suits me.
The fabric used was some left over red polyester crepe, and the bodice is lined with some silky shiny material that I don’t know the name of!
