I’ve always loved the high-waisted shorts from the 1950s, and really wanted a pair. I’ve tried for a while to find a pattern that I like, to no avail, so I decided to make my first pattern! I really like the way these fit, and I think I’ll get some more fabric and try making some slightly more complicated shorts like these. I couldn’t add anything exciting for this pair since the only fabric I had left was a 6 by 7 inch rectangle.
I used red corduroy with a really thin stripe. I think I had around 1/4 to 1/2 yard.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
