Description

I had been putting off making a dress block to my specific measurements as I thought it would be difficult, but it turns out it’s not so hard :)
I used the block to make a pattern for this dress, and I had JUST enough fabric (from a charity shop, £3) to make it. As you can see in the second picture.
There is an inverted pleat at the back for ease.
Please ignore the terrible photography and the crease down the skirt!

great dress! making a sloper isn’t so hard….it’s less hassles then the frustration of altering store bought patterns.

sloper is the US way of saying block isn’t it? Yeah it’s really handy, much easier than grading shop bought ones, indeed :)

This is beautiful – and such a flattering fit on your figure! Would you considering posting the pattern?

I wouldn’t know how to upload the pattern, I’m afraid! You ca see it it the second photo to get an idea of the shape. Also, it’s only in my size so would have to be graded/drafted whatever it’s called! Thanks for your comment :)
