I’ve remembered I could share this giraffe… It’s made after a pattern from old Czech magazine – from my grandma I got an exercise book filled with such patterns and crafty ideas from old magazines. I made the giraffe as a gift for a Christmas party with my friends, so I actually can’t remember anymore who got it in the end… but I want to make one for myself eventually.
Again, as with Ursus purpureus, sort of stretch velvet or what - originally a thrift store children's sweatshirt. Still I've got lots of it, the giraffe ate only one sleeve of it, not even whole sleeve. :-) I love making stuffed toys from this type of material. Horns and tail are made of red cord. Face is painted with black chinese ink (I proved it was water-resistant, i.e. it stays. :-)
