Description

My version of the coffee date dress, without the ruffle and with added sleeves. I also added a 2" band under the bodice because it was much too short for me. My first time doing a neck facing, so thank you CDD for teaching me something new! You can also check it out at my blog, The Crafty Magpie

Material Notes

Cotton fabric from Ikea, and lined with a $2.99 Ikea bedsheet :)

    Very nice dress! I like your aliterations, couldn’t be seen on first sight that it is the coffee date dress pattern! I also like how you used the flower Ikea fabric. I have the same at home and thought already how to use it, think it is a bit tricky to find the perfect printed section on the fabric for the front, but you did a good job! I like it, thanks for inspiration!

      I laid out my pattern pieces so many times trying to decide what would look best. It’s a good thing that I had a limited amount of space or I probably would have dithered about forever! Thanks for the nice comment :)
