Burda Style For people who sew

i made this dress last year for the benidorm fiesta!! everyone dresses up and its great fun. this one shouldered dress was an easy two piece pattern from last year. i call it my go to pattern as i’ve made a few variations on the origional by adding a sleeve etc’. i used two feather boas and they where a good match. the feathers took me longer to hand stitch on then making the dress lol. three hours in total. i did lose a few feathers but my friend who’s daughter irish dances gave me a great tip, they use! hairspray!! i sprayed the feathers like mad and it worked.

the poles are normally.holding me up after a night out hehehe. its really just a we thing i do now as my friends commented that i always pose with a tree or a pole as a prop.any pole i see now i pose at!! no pole is safe x
