Red Farrah dress

This dress is based on the Farrah dress in Famous Dresses book. Very simple wrap dress. But I love how the collars give it a little extra touch. I purchased this fabric last spring and waited to find the perfect pattern for it. This knitted cotton is quite thick and heavy, which gives this dress quite a nice shape and classic silhouette. My new favorite dress :) Especially when Christmas time is approaching…

Nothing is better in my opinion than a pretty red dress….yours is gorgeous, I like the collar but most I like the decorative stiching!

Oh wow!= this is gorgeous, i have so far made the diana ross dress from the book. I love your farrah one so maybe i’ll do it next instead off the audrey one. I intend to make all ten at some point. Your dress is quite simply fab. I love your fabric choice the collar and the top stitching x

Thank you for your kind words Mary! I loved your diana ross dress and it actually inspired me to try the patterns in this book :) Audrey dress is next on my list as well but I love them all. So many possibilities :)
