Description

Made using Butterick 5046. Not my favorite pattern in the world, but not awful either. It uses facings for the neckline, which don’t lay nicely, of course. Next time I will use bias tape to finish the edges instead (or line it for a fancier, more high end look). The hemline is just a scalloped finishing stitch (since I’m too lazy to hem and it seemed fitting since I was using eyelet).

Cotton/eyelet

I think this is adorable. I want to make one now. I love the scalloped hemming though, I probably would have hemmed then done the scalloping. Thanks for posting!
