It is done, and finished! My original attempt at this dress just didn’t turn out too well, nor did my second attempt. Third time lucky I guess.
I removed a portion at the back, inserted two darts (which formed pleats in the skirt), installed a zipper and added in a removable bead chain at the front. I think a large black ribbon would do wonders for it, but maybe when I want to change the look of it.
It sits nice and only needs an iron to completely finish it off.
