I made this dress for a Valentines piano concert in the city. It was simple and fun to design but a nightmare to sew – the main fabric, a polyester crepe, frayed easily and was difficult to iron. I was zig zagging seams up until the last minute (except for taking these pictures!) I loved wearing it though, it was comfortable and slinky and the colour made me feel happy.

I am in love with this dress! So many things I love, all in one item.
Where is the pattern from? I am now very keen to get a hold of it.

Oh thank-you so much. I actually started from scratch on this but I think you could probably modify the neckline and back on any old shift dress pattern?
