LOVE this pattern by Christine Haynes. It sews like a dream. The sewalong on her blog is brilliant. She even goes through FBA and SBA in an easy to understand way.
This version is made from red quilting cotton and a black cottonish material with cherries printed all iver t. I made the gathered skirt in the smallest size and left off the pockets (I ran out of fabric, not a stylish desin feature) the pattern also comes with 3/4 length sleeves and an optional bow for the waist and a lovely collar.
I was lucky to meet Christine at the Emery Dress Party at RayStitch in London. A fantastic evening. It was lovely to meet so many like minded ladies and see their own take on this pattern.
Invisible zip, thread.
