Description

My apron is made from “M’Liss” brand quilting cotton in a “Parisian Dachshund” print. There are lines of silhouetted long and short dachshund dogs, in between lines of roses, scroll work, and Fleur-de-lis. I drafted my own basic apron blank, then added a wide ruffle to the bottom. There are handy pockets, of course! I used a remnant on hand of black denim for the pockets. The big pocket has my monogram letter, with a smaller, but still usable, decorative pocket off to the side, stitched down in red thread. The neckband is a piece shaped like a crescent to lay like a big collar. I love to glam this apron up! My dachsie wanted to do a photo bomb, too. How nice!!! I thought it was a dress…So detailed work! Thank you for your comment on my hand painted dress (two weeks ago). I didin’t reply it because it strangely never appeared under the project, I only saw a part of it in my activity…Anyway, sewing (and a few other things) is meditation for me this period.
