Description

I bought an 80’s prom dress full of ruching and lace for a Halloween costume several years ago. I’ve never worn it since and for some reason have hung onto it. Well the day came when I decided to rip into and salvage this fabric, so I made a Danielle! Fully lined and sleeveless, everything used on it is original to the dress except for the thread.

    EXCELLENT. I really like the cut and fit of this. This is the kind of dress you have to make because you can never find it… (That’s why we all sew, right?)

    Very creative recycle! and the result is quite nice! sometimes it DOES pay to hang onto stuff, I guess!
