recycled or remnant scarves

Added Aug 29, 2010

Brooklyn, New Yo...

i found a lovely henley shirt (but with a collar) on the street while ago, but i never got to wear it since it was too big for me. when i was sorting stuff to bring to salvation army, i found it and couldn’t decide if i should give it up. fortunately i got an idea for a tube scarf, and so i cut the bottom and made it into one. the zigzag finish on the hem created some ruffle. i’m happy i could give another life to something.
the other scarves are made out of remnants. triangle, square, or rectangular, the material itself told me what i could do with it.

Great project! Each of them gives the outfit a nifty flavor…It’s appreciated that you tied them in different ways :)
