Recycled one shoulder dress

Added Apr 4, 2010

by Emma (Cotter...

Ireland, Ireland

I needed a dress for going out one night so I made this dress with leftovers from various projects. It took about 7 hours to make and I am really happy with the end result. The top is made from leftover black lace, the white underlay was a scrap I had left over after an unsuccessful project and the black skirt is recycled off another old dress i never finished. I bought the flowers in an accessories shop for the shoulder.

Material Notes

Black material leftover from a black dress I made but never finished. Lace left over from the backless gown I made, white silk jersey left over from a dress I started, recycled 14" side zip.

Very nice. Looks like one of those high-end dresses that would cost one hundred plus!
